Located 10 miles north of downtown Cincinnati, Deer Park Community School District includes the city of Deer Park, a part of Sycamore Township, and a small portion of the city of Silverton. The intimate community setting includes both the comfort and security of a small town school system and the benefits of an outstanding suburban educational program.
Last week, the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) released their annual report card grading all school districts across the State of Ohio. The Ohio School Report Card measures six different components. To help you gain a better understanding of each component, we are going to send out a series of releases to summarize each component and the measures they include.

As the Board of Education of Deer Park Community City Schools, a public school district located in north central Cincinnati; specifically serving students in the city of Deer Park as well as portions of the city of Silverton and portions of Sycamore Township, we have serious issues with the proposed Duke Central Corridor Extension Gas Pipeline and believe that we are obligated to comment on this project.
