We’re Getting Ready for the Annual Holiday Food Drive

Here’s how you can help!

With the leaves changing and the weather getting crisp, we’re reminded that the holidays will be here before we know it. Just like last year, we’d like to start collecting for the Annual Holiday Food Drive earlier than ever. We have so many school programs and clubs committed to lending a helping hand, that our students are eager to begin! At Deer Park Schools, we strive to teach our students the importance of giving back to our families, friends, and community.

Deer Park Schools will begin collecting boxed or canned goods and non-perishable items (such as toilet paper, soaps, tissues) for this annual event. While the area businesses do not have their holiday barrels just yet (coming in the next week), consider dropping off items at any of the district buildings.

This time of year is especially important to remember our neighbors, to thank a veteran, and to cherish our family and friends. Let’s share the joy this (upcoming) holiday season! The actual Holiday Food Drive pick-up is on Saturday, December 10.

If you have any questions, please email Ms. Patty Hadden (hadden.p@dpccsd.org) or Tim Hubbard (hubbard.t@dpccsd.org).
