After several years of work by the dedicated Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC) Early Childhood Staff and Leadership Team, Deer Park Community City School District is happy to announce the Holmes Early Childhood Center was awarded a 5-Star rating by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE).
Once you have filled out the new form, you will receive the combination code by calling the Jr./Sr. High School front desk at 513.891.0010.
A big congratulations to Mr. Pat Ormond (Amity, 6th Grade)! He received the Outstanding Recycling Educator award from Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste.
We want parents to have the most updated grades at the time grades are entered, so we will no longer be sending home hard copies of midterm grades.

8th Grade to host Chipotle fundraiser!
Parents, here are some friendly reminders to help ensure your ghouls and goblins have a great Halloween this year.
If you are in need of assistance during the holidays, please make sure you return your holiday food drive request form as soon as possible to any building in the district.
In case you missed it, Education Week (here and here) recently turned the spotlight on the Deer Park Community City School District’s Thriving Learning Communities (TLC) program.

For Spring 2017 Season
Mr. Smiley went to Camp Kern today and he is happy to report your students are having a wonderful time learning about the great outdoors. However, after he left this afternoon, we were informed the lake will be closed tomorrow.
We are writing to inform you that late last night two men were found on the roof of Holmes Elementary. Our night custodian heard the noise and notified the Sycamore Township Police Department. Should the need arise, we will provide you with an update, but at this time there is no risk to our students or staff.
