“I would like to thank the board members and administration for allowing me the opportunity to become part of the Deer Park family. I look forward to creating a long-lasting relationship with the community as well as the school. And in the words of Abraham Lincoln, ‘The best way to predict the future is to create it.’ That’s what I plan to do with the basketball program at Deer Park," said Gentry.
"Steve brings a wealth of experience and success to Deer Park. I am excited to work with Steve and his coaching staff. I know how capable he is of cultivating teams that exhibit winning character both on and off the court. I am confident he will be a tremendous addition to our athletic program," said Dr. Stace Orso, Deer Park High School Principal.
