Steve C. Smith was re-elected in the November election to continue to serve as a Deer Park Board of Education member. He serves as Chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee and is the Joint Vocational School Representative from Deer Park Board of Education.

Mr. Smith lives in Dillonvale, is a 1981 graduate of Deer Park Jr./Sr. High School, and is a lifelong district resident. His son graduated from the jr./sr. high school in 2003 and attends Ohio University. He also has a daughter who graduated from the jr./sr. high school in 2007. Mr. Smith is an active community/district volunteer and is currently a member of Band Sponsors. Professionally Mr. Smith is a registered civil engineer working with Burgess & Niple. He has a bachelor's of science in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
