Immunizations for 7th & 12th Graders

Due Tomorrow

Dear parents:

This a reminder that all 7th grade immunizations, required by the state of Ohio, are due by tomorrow, September 7.  All 7th grade students need one dose of the meningitis and one dose of the Tdap vaccine. Letters began being sent home last spring with 4th quarter report cards. Notification of this has also been included in the weekly newsletters. We also sent home reminder letters to those students still in need of immunizations last week.

Your child's attendance is of the utmost importance to us and we do not want to exclude anyone.  However, if your child does not have the documentation of immunizations turned in by tomorrow, September 7, they will not be permitted to attend school until such documentation is received. If your child has an appointment to receive these immunizations, please notify the nurse. As long as you have notified the nurse of an upcoming appointment to acquire the immunizations, your child may attend school.

You may obtain the immunizations at Walgreens Take Care Clinic, Norwood Health Dept., Hamilton Co. Public Health or your family doctor.

Again, we do not want to have to exclude any students from school. If you have any questions, please call or email the nurse, Lori Radcliff at 513-891-0010 or radcliff.l@dpccsd.org.
