Trills and Thrills for Deer Park Junior High Choir

Another ‘excellent’ for singers

More good news from the Deer Park Junior High Choirs! This past Saturday, select 7th and 8th graders from the Deer Park Choirs performed at the music festival “Trills and Thrills” at Wilmington High School. They received a rating of 'Excellent' from two professional music adjudicators who critiqued their performance of 'Sinner Man' and 'The Power of One'.

"This experience is a lot like the Large group contest the high school choir students prepare for each year. Being the first year we've participated at the Jr high level I am so proud of the Choir students for their dedication, pride in singing, and mature behavior for the entire contest experience!" said Elizabeth Tierney, Deer Park Jr./Sr. High School Choir Instructor.

Following the Deer Park Choir's excellent performance in the festival, the students spent the afternoon at Kings Island! Mrs. Tierney hopes to continue this Choir tradition next year. Thank you Deer Park Choir for representing our school and community.
