Each year the Deer Park PTO offers two Deer Park High School Seniors a $750 Community Service Scholarship.
The scholarships recognize volunteer service in the school and community and they are available to a Deer Park High School Senior in good standing and graduating in the current academic year. The scholarship is to be used at an accredited college or university, community college, trade or technical school.
To apply for the scholarship, Deer Park Seniors can obtain a PTO Community Service Application either below or from the High School Counselor's office. The completed Scholarship Application, one Letter of recommendation from a teacher or other adult that speaks to your character and community service experience, and a one page essay describing volunteer experiences should be submitted to:

Applications will be accepted until Friday, April 28, 2017. If applications are received after April 28, 2017, they will not be eligible for the PTO Community Service Scholarship.
This scholarship recognizes volunteer service in the school and community and does not have a grade point average restriction or requirement. An applicant must be graduating from DPHS in good standing.
Recipients are selected by representatives of the Deer Park PTO, High School and/or other district employees. Applicants will be presented with the PTO Scholarship during the Sr. Awards Assembly.
