Snow Dey

Dear Deer Park Families -

We heard you loud and clear! Based on the votes of more than 1,200 parents, students, and teachers, the Deer Park community made their voices heard with more than 90 percent voting to declare Monday, February 14 a "Snow Dey!"

Monday, February 14 will officially be declared a Snow Dey within our District to honor the Cincinnati Bengals.

This is a historic opportunity for our students, staff, and community to celebrate and and come together in support of our city.

Student voice is important to all of us.

Our students from our high school to our elementary school, have clearly spoken about their desire to honor the Bengals, as I received many persuasive essays from students across the district listing reasons why we should take in the historic moment!

We then put it out to the community at-large, who arrived in droves on our Twitter poll with an overwhelming "YES!" I thank our students, parents, and staff for their time and energy to share their voice.

I am so proud of all that our students have accomplished. Let's let them celebrate our city’s team in what we know will be a history making victory.

Who Dey!

Jay Phillips
Superintendent
