Welcome to Deer Park City Schools Preschool. Deer Park currently offers the programing options listed below:

Deer Park Preschool

  • Class Size: 14 children (per class)
  • Students must turn 4 by first day of the school year for the upcoming year (2026-27 school year begins Aug. 18)
  • Tuition-Based ($250/month) *Subject to change based on Board of Education approval*
  • Hours: M-F, AM: 8:30-11 a.m.
  • Staff:

    • Teaching Assistant: Deborah Sporing 
    • Amity Principal: Laura Warman
    • Program Supervisor: Patty Hadden
  • Must be a Deer Park resident to register

Preschool Connections 

  • Class Size: 14 children
  • Students ages 2-3
  • Cost: FREE
  • Day: Fridays beginning in September
  • Hours: 12:15-1 p.m. 
  • Staff:

    • Program Supervisor: Patty Hadden
  • Class is for parent/adult and child. Parent must be present for the full class time.

HCESC Opportunities

Deer Park partners with Hamilton County Educational Service Center  (HCESC) to provide Head Start preschool and special education preschool opportunities to Deer Park families.

 

Hamilton County Headstart Collaboration

  • Class Size:
    • AM: 15 children
    • PM: 15 children
    • An integrated program with 9 children who are typically developing and 6 children with an identified disability.
  • Cost: No Cost (Must meet Federal family income requirements)
  • Hours: M-TH, 8:15-11:45 a.m. or 12:30-4 p.m.
  • Staff:

Hamilton County Intensive Preschool Unit

  • Class Size:
    • AM: 6 children
    • PM: 6 children
    • Students determined based on IEP Team decision for placement
  • Cost: No Cost

  • Hours: M-TH, 8:15-11:05 a.m. or 12:15-3:05 p.m

  • Staff:
  • Call Director of Student Services at  513-936-5937 or email. Students with a suspected disability MUST register with the district. ALL children must have a birth certificate to be enrolled.
