Braylon Dennis, 5th grader at Amity Elementary, recently competed in the 2019 Cincinnati Reds Baseball Skills Champions Day at Great American Ball Park.
Nearly 1,000 boys and girls ages six to 14 participated in the 2019 season of the Cincinnati Reds Baseball and Softball Camps. During camp, each player competed in a skills competition consisting of batting, fielding, throwing and running skills. At the conclusion of the summer, the top ten finishers in each age category from 13 Camps in 4 States competed at Champions Day at Great American Ball Park.
As one of those top finishers, Braylon competed against other top scorers in the 5th-6th grade level boy's bracket in August, where he finished in first place, overall. Next spring, Braylon will be invited to a Reds game to be honored prior to the contest.
Congratulations to Braylon on this terrific accomplishment!
