A Message from the Principal
Hello Deer Park Families!
I hope you and your families enjoyed a wonderful weekend. For those who had the opportunity to attend one of the Parkers performances, I trust you were as impressed as I was by our students' incredible talent.
I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Sara Godwin, Lauren Troxell, Pat Baur, Matt Suddendorf, Kelsey Ramicone, Jami Baker, Brenda Livingston, Nelson Livingston, Neil Bailey, Jackie Preston, Jake Preston, Toni German, and McCartney Levie for their dedication and hard work. Their commitment involved countless hours both with our students and behind the scenes after hours and over weekends to ensure the success of the show. When you have a moment, please join me in expressing gratitude to these remarkable individuals for their contributions. They truly made a difference.

In Case You Missed It
Reminder to Unwell Students Leaving Early:
We've observed an increasing trend where students are directly reaching out to their parents or guardians, requesting to be picked up early due to feeling unwell. We want to remind everyone of the correct procedure in such situations. If your child feels sick during school hours, the first step should be to visit the school nurse. Our school nurse is equipped to assess your child's health and make a determination on whether they should remain in school or go home. This decision is made with the student's best interest in mind, ensuring their health and safety are prioritized. After the assessment, the nurse will communicate directly with a parent or guardian to inform them of the situation and discuss the appropriate next steps.
Attention rising juniors and seniors:
If you are interested in preparing for the SAT, sign up for the SAT bootcamp this summer! The SAT is free for all juniors each school year in the spring. Get a jumpstart on some practice! Here's the link to sign up.
See Mrs. Beck for additional questions.
