From the Desk of Mr. Drouhard
Dear Amity Families,
I want to wish all of our mother’s a Happy Mother’s Day! You truly deserve a day to be celebrated! A mother is the first teacher that a baby encounters, and your work is never done in teaching your child. All the hard work in preparing your student each day does not go unnoticed. What seems like endless lunch packing, laundry, schedule coordination, and homework help makes our students successful! Thank you for all you do!
Take Care,
Josh

During their visit, they got to meet important staff members, hear some needed information about next year, and get Qs answered from an 8th grade panel of experts! But, the main highlights of the trip were lunch in our cafeteria, building tours, and our extra-curricular club fair! Please ask your 6th grader about this visit!
Also, please mark your calendar for August 6th for our first ever 7th Grade Extravaganza! Tentative time 9 - 11:30 AM at the Jr/Sr High School! More details to come!

Dismissal Process Changes
With a return of nice weather, we understand that there will be changes with how students get home. If your child is going to be a walker vs. their traditional car rider (or vice versa) please let our office and homeroom teacher know. This helps us coordinate within the building of where students will be going. Please feel free to utilize our Amity Attendance email address: amity.attendance@dpccsd.org
