Who are the Band Sponsors?
The Deer Park Band Sponsors is a non-profit parent-volunteer organization that supports all aspects of band programs for grades 6-12. Along with the band directors, the Band Sponsors coordinate the band’s activities including fundraising events, equipment, uniforms, spirit wear, hands-on support for performances (Cat Crew), and feeding the students on busy days. Our most well-known fundraising events include Tag Day, the Cake Walk, and the Ice Cream Social. None of these events would be a success without the time and talents of our volunteers!
To become a Band Sponsor, please fill out the form linked below, pay the entry fee, and care about the band/guard/music in general. The Band Sponsors board meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted), in the HS band room at 6:30 PM. As a paid member of the Band Sponsors, your presence at board meetings is welcome!
